How To Cook Great Pasta
To cook great pasta, start with the best quality pasta. I recommend the sprouted whole wheat at Trader Joe's. After the salted water is boiling, carefully place the pasta into the pot and separate with a fork. Stirring frequently, make sure to test it and not overcook it. When it is firm but tender, pour a cup of cold water into the pot and turn off the heat. The cold water stops the cooking process. Drain thoroughly ensuring to shake off all of the water. Put the cooked pasta into a bowl or a plate and add the following: minced fresh garlic, parsley flakes, oregano, basil, salt and pepper to taste. Stir to mix the ingredients. Drizzle on a good quality olive oil (not too much) and sprinkle on parmesan cheese. Enjoy! |
